Duke Of Cornwall

Our beautiful LM gown, Sophia, was recently taken on a wonderful shoot to the Duke Of Cornwall Hotel in Plymouth. A beautiful venue that Sophia fitted into perfectly into, complimenting the shape and details of the stunning gown. Romantic wedding day moments captured so realistically by Liberty Pearl Photography.

We picked up on a strong British vibe from this shoot and love the elegance of it, all carefully organised by Jenny Wren, Weddings & Events.

Thankyou to all involved in this shoot for creating a magical atmosphere for our Sophia, LM gown to show off her lace and scattered sparkly details, with a figure hugging shape to show off all the right curves in all the right places.

Summers Eve

A Bit About Naomi Neoh

"The inspiration behind Naomi Neoh 2016 Summer's Eve collection stems from the enchanting and wild beauty of the English countryside and the delicate dwindling sunlight of a summer's evening. The new designs continue to include Naomi's ever popular signature soft, floating silk chiffon skirts and use of delicate blush pinks and peach tones but with a new addition of an "oyster" hue.

The 2016 collection also sees the introduction of a new guipure lace used for illusion necklines and delicate straps. The irregular lines of the guipure lace reflect the natural and less formal feeling of the collection. Many of the new designs have slimmer silhouettes compared to those seen in previous collections; however, they still have the abundance of flowing silk in the skirts that give the luxurious look and feel to the dresses that our brides adore. "

We are welcoming in new stunning collections into our boutique over the next couple of months and the new "Summers Eve" Collection by Naomi Neoh is one we know you will all adore. Here are some teasers of what you can expect in store, keeping the dreamy floating silks and soft textures we know these will en-capture your heart like they have with us.

Autumnal Inspiration

A little bit of inspiration leading you into a beautiful season today. Autumn is the final burst of energy before winter hits, with autumnal colours effortlessly complimenting each other. It's also a wonderful season to be married in, with the perfect reasons to embrace bonfires, snuggle in blankets and have the perfect natural lighting in the evening of your big day.

We created a mini mood board to tingle your autumn taste buds and inspire you, if you haven't set a date yet, or if you are getting married but need little personal touches this autumn. A season we love and want to fully embrace.

Like most people we spend too long on pinterest so we collated our favourite autumnal finds into this post for you to pull ideas from or inspire your own creations.

We love love love the idea of giving a jar or tube of the tastiest hot chocolate mix as favours, why not bring out hot water in the evening so people are use them on the night when you're all outside and the air gets a bit chillier? Or carve into pumpkins, turn the into lanterns to light your aisle or simple to help people find their way in and out the venue? There is always new ideas to be created and every wedding is unique, if you have any lovely ideas you used or will use on your wedding day let us know, we'd love to hear them!

Into The Sunset

A Bit About Claire Pettibone

"The Claire Pettibone collection embodies the designer’s vision of vintage romance with an enchanted bohemian spirit. Since launching the company with her husband, Guy Toley, in 1994, the self-described true romantic has brought her feminine sensibility to fashion. After a successful decade creating luxurious lingerie, Pettibone introduced couture bridal gowns in 2005 and so began a real shift in wedding style. The garden, vineyard, rustic and vintage inspired weddings that have become so ubiquitous, showcase many of the designer’s creations. Claire’s gentle use of color, couture details, European laces and graceful embroideries flutter and flow to make a woman look and feel like a goddess."

Autumn is nearly upon us and what a way to welcome in the low lights, autumnal colours and romantic evenings than with a super hot, brand new collection from one of our favourite designers…Claire Pettibone. We are so excited for these beauties to arrive we couldn’t wait to show you some teaser images of what will be gracing our boutique. The new Collection “Into The Sunset” embraces vintage lace in a nod to pioneer style accented with a touch of bandit black. The untamed romance of the old west … land of the windblown prairies and endless possibilities, tells a tale of true Romantique Love. With nudes, black and 3D details this collection has blown our minds and we had our more daring brides in mind when we chose an exquisit all black lace number, Cheyenne. Trust us when we say you WILL know about it when this new range hits our store, but for now, like us, these teasers will have to satisfy us all for now.
